SAUSAGE MADE FROM GOAT AND PIG

We make fresh meat sausages and bacon sausages on the farm. Every year we make some sausages that only contain goat meat, but most contain both goat meat and pork.

In the sausages we only use meat from our own animals. The pork is from our summer pigs, which greatly appreciate rooting in the soil on a large infield pasture and ingesting leftovers from the café and whey from the dairy. They are thus an important part of the cycle on the farm and for optimal utilization of local resources.
The meat comes from our goats, who have had a full-fledged goat life on the farm and who have spent many summers on the mountain. The sausages also contain some meat from the neck and list. 

We do not use nitrite salt in our sausages, only natural ingredients.

We take care of all the little ones that are born. They are allowed to go with their mothers and thus have free access to milk. The jaws eventually also start to gnaw on hay, but they do not get power feed.

The cows are slaughtered at the local slaughterhouse, Horn, 20 km from the farm. We drive them there ourselves. Slaughter weight of the chicken meat is around 6.5 kg, quality meat and tender.

We sell whole slaughter, parted and vacuum-packed.

The season for fresh meat is from April to May.
